Um....Helloooooo??

Kozumi's Quote of the Week:
"Yes, I play the katana."
--Seen on a shirt.

Rya: Well, since our host hasn't the strength to get to the comp more regularly, we'll try to update as much as possible.
Loki: MAKEMYMONSTERGROW!!!!!
Loki-chan: WTF?
Rya: Riiiiight. What's a monster.
Aro: We've started animating. Which means hell in all forms but particulary in the 2D form. But fret not, as we have---*cue lights and angel choir*--A light table!
Angel Choir: AAAAAAAAAHHHHH-AAAAHHHHHHHH!
Loki-chan: I repeat: WTF??
Rya: So yeah. There is much homework and midterms, so we've been away for quite awhile. And unless we get both movie reviews written at school via laptop, they're not gonna make the Halloween deadline.
Aro: In the meantime we have a few updates. Silent Hill 2 makes us paranoid. So anyone who can send us tips would be very welcome.
Loki-chan: Yaoi-con preps are on the way. See previous entries on which costumes we'll be parading around in. You can bet good money that one of them's a sexy Norse God. ~_^
Rya: On the Fatal Frame front, the X-Box version of the second game, the director's cut, may or may not be coming out tomorrow, depending on whether or not the disributors are asses. I have it reserved.
Loki: Yes, we feel very dirty about preordering and buying an X-Box game, but the lure of a poster, new ending and 2 bikini outfits is sufficient drive to plunk down the $50 or so.
Aro: And while on the subject, we found this hentai movie of Fatal Frame 2. Please, if under 18 years of age, do not click. We can track you. We're Mac users.
Syndelin: No we can't.
Rya: We'd say it was the honor system, but we know you're all lying scum...I mean, loyal readers.....
Loki-chan: Ummmmm, yeah. So that's the bi-monthly update. Please join us at Thanksgiving. Thank you and goodnight Valhalla.

*Til the next time I drag myself away from work and school....*

Ouchy...Skool Hurtz

Kozumi's Quote of the Week:
"This angel's wearing Tommy Hilfiger....she's going to Hell...."
--Overheard while making costumes.

Clio's Word of the Week:
Zombie (noun): A being, who, once deceased, becomes animated; undead; undead entity that devours 1) human flesh, 2) brains, or 3) anything that moves. A common horror character, often with low intelligence, massive strength and an insatiable appitite.

Whew, back in the saddle, Lunies. Been swamped with homework and other things, like going to my animation prof's house and screwing all day, only to end with beer and fire. XD We made light tables last Saturday for class, and after the heavy labor where Russell (the prof) sprained his thumb, we had a bonfire, my firt ever. It was frickin awsome. ^^ Maybe we can do it sometime, ne?

Loki: Riiiiiight. Like that's a smart idea....

Good point. *sigh* In addition to all the homework, sewing, and preparing for Yaoi-con, I'd caught some weird cold that only hit me after it got dark....yeah, I know, weird, ne? Plus, I just got a new bed and we had to basically move the enitre contents of my room out to get them in. -_- So I'm sore from a number of things and tired from everything else, and don't even get me started on midterms. SO! You're all prolly wondering about the yearly Halloween Party.

Yes, I'm still holding it, the weekend before (23rd of Oct) and we're holding it in the hall across my apartment, becuz we're expacting a lotta people this year. NEway, its still happening, don't ya'll fret.

The 29th, the creators of Happy Tree Friends are having a shindig in SF for the big premere of the new Halloween special. I wanna go, since Russ's gonna be there (XD) but Y-con starts that day. We'll see, but I heartly implore that all you HTF fans try to go. Its got zombies!

And speaking of zombies, I'll be soon reviewing Shaun of the Dead and Ju-On, so sit tight. I gotta run, for homework calls all too shrilly. Catch ya all on the flip side, Lunies.

*Til next time, Lunies!*

Excuse me! Are You Alright?!

Quote of the Week:
"I got fucked."
--My sister, when asked how her day went last week. Needless to say, she 1) meant to say "fucked over", and 2) had a rather unpleasant day that day.

Clio's Word of the Week:
Splitch (v): Sound made when poking large animals (ie elephants, rhinos, hippos) with a pointy stick.
Two in a row!
Gru(interj) One type of moaning sound made by zombies. See also uuuhhhhh, muuuuuhhh, and braaaaainnnnssss.

So. Its now Cotober. Which means many things. Light tables and animation. Good horror flicks. Halloween party. Yaoi-con. Manga. And costumes. Costumes costumes costumes.

Loki: And candy. Lots and lots of candy. Candy candy candy.

YEs. And candy. Did anyone know that the old Disney Halloween cartoon Skeleton Dance was animated by Ub Iwerks? Man, the man was a freaking genius. If any of you really don't know who Iwerks is, I suggest at the very least Googling him and reading up cuz he's fucking sassy awsome.

Aro: Duh dum da-dum da-dum da-dum da-dum da-dum, da da da.

Yes. Sexy. In other news, I got my hands on ADV's translation of MaLoRa. And I'm disappointed. Not ultra disappointed, but really disappointed. It could have been a lot better. And the fact that they released RAGNAROK before both the anime and the original series really annoys me cuz it just jumps right into the story. And its REIYA not REYA. That "I" is emphasized. And its ECCHAN not ETCHAN, but I'll let that one slide. But to have Reiya not speak in 3rd person?? No honorifics? "Dad" and not "Daddy"??? Ok, I'm really annoyed. But I guess that's what happens when you have contract workers.... *sigh* I know I was building up for disappointment but I guess I was still a little too optimistic. Fair translation, but it could have been a LOT better. One HEL of a lot better. And speaking of which, we won't be seeing her for quite awhile either.

*breathe* Ok, after that little rant, now I'm gonna leave some teasers for upcoming posts. XP Wah-ha.

We're gonna have 2, count 'im, TWO movie reviews this October: Shaun of the Dead and Ju-On, a special book review, RanLune's first Halloween Party (complete with Michael Jackson's Ghosts, an iPod on random and of course glow in the dark baseball) and some other cool stuffin's. Just you wait, its gonna be a hoot! And check out X-Entertainment's coutndown to Halloween! So, catch ya all on the flip siiiide!

*Til next time, Lunies!*
