Halloween Advent Countdown, Day 14
While I'm not a Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, I am highly amused at the halloween episode. It has zombies. Yes. Imagine a the Foster's home, a veritable Winchester House, only with pastel colors and freaky-deaky imaginary friends also in candy colors, infested with candy colored zombies. Zombi....zombeses...? Wait....
So Blu kills Harriman and after burying him in the backyard, the oversized limey rabbit become zombified and starts biting everyone in sight, starting with Madam Foster, and eventually spreading to everyone else in the house, sans Coco, Eduardo, and Mac, who's tied up in Blu's room because he goes apeshit when he gets candy. Its like Dead Rising, only funnier. And stupider. Eventually, Blu is left with Mac, with whom he makes a break for it: by feeding Mac obscene amounts of candy, causing him to run amok. In the end, while Mac runs wild, Blu finds out that the whole house was playing a trick on him, faking an outbreak of zombie-ism....damn, are there no real words for things like that....?
I dunno why, but it kinda got me to smile again. Its a 20 minute cartoon, but it was spirited enough to get me thinking about pumpkins and candy. I'm stressed out for the weekend (big project coming up, of course), but I'm jack-o-lantern grinning. While CN's not showing The Halloween Tree (man, does anyone remember it?), I'll take what i can get these days.
Frankie's dressed like Blossom of Powerpuff Girl's fame. Frankie is hot. I'm going straight to hell.
